Does Grass Need To Be Cut During The Winter?

As you’ve probably seen, grass growth during the winter months slows down extremely. For that reason alone, no one really cuts their grass, however in the UK we’ve seen milder temperatures (maybe down to global warming) during recent months so you may need bring out the lawnmower for one last time!

You need to time the occasion correctly as you don’t want to cut grass whilst it’s wet as it can damage the lawn. Blades can also be damaged, so plan your cut depending on weather conditions and temperature.

Or you can just leave your grass how it is and leave it untidy till February! Just know as time goes on, it’s probably going to get even warmer so sooner or later, that lawnmower will come out in the traditional winter months.
