There are many different ways you can water your garden, with each having a different end result. You also need to consider whether there are any restrictions regarding water usage in your area.

  • Hand water – The most obvious and common way to water your garden. It’s the easiest method, but can be wasteful. We recommend this technique for individual plants.
  • Drip irrigation – Similar to soaker hoses, this method is more efficient with it wasting less water than the other techniques. This is however more costly and requires maintenance.
  • Sprinklers – The easiest in terms of human usage. All one has to do is set up the overhead sprinkler and let it run for a chosen amount of time. The downside is a lot of water will be wasted, so your water bills will be considerably higher.
