Transform your dull and boring garden into a vibrant garden bursting with colours by turning green-fingered and planting some flowers. Pick three colours such as the British red, white and blue to brighten up any part of an unloved or untouched garden. This will give your garden a colour scheme without it being too fussy and creates interest to your garden.
You could even turn your garden into a flower spectrum by using ‘ The Flower Colour Theory’ A colour theory is basically all of the colours of the spectrum (red, orange, yellow, green, blue , indigo and violet) bent into a circle . Or contrast the colours of flowers to produce the most striking of combinations, for example mix some yellow flowers with purple flowers.
However, using colours does require planning as too many colours may get too much for the eye and it may look hideous rather than your initial plan of making your garden look better.
