Spring time is nearly here, meaning if you’re an avid gardener you should start preparing work in your garden before the Summer months, so you can enjoy in peace. Today we discuss fertilizing your grass so weeds don’t grow during the most important time of the year.
How much fertilizer should you apply? Well this all depends on the severity factor of your weed problem, if there is a problem. Don’t forget that fertilizer can also help the grass in your lawn grow back thick, but also be aware that the substance can damage the grass if not used properly.
We understand that there are many different fertilizers available on the market, and as it’s early in the season we recommend a slow-release nitrogen fertilizer. Don’t add more than 0.45 kg of nitrogen per every 1000 square feet.
